Umai or Umay, the goddess of fertility, is a protector of women and children. The oldest evidence of Umai is in the Orkhon script. From these it is understood that Umai was accepted as a mother and a guide. Umay lives in the blue sky and is said to bring good luck.

The Moirai Necklace is a black cord necklace with a small blue resin Gorgoneion slide closure.

The Moirai, composed of Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos, were three sisters who respectively spun the cord of life at birth and allotted life's events, which were represented on the black thread crafted by the middle child. The Gorgoneion as an amulet offers us symbolic protection on life’s journey.

The Minuit Necklace is a limited edition item in shades of midnight blue from lapis beads.

It is adorned with the face of a fearsome but protective Gorgoneion, fashioned in resin. It takes its name from the French for “midnight” - the hour of the evening between past and future, when the clocks reset, and anything is possible.

Hand-strung beads of pure, natural lapis lazuli sourced ethically and directly. Each stone differs slightly in colour meaning each necklace is unique. Vegetable resin bead, clasp and extender 18K gold plated. Lead and nickel free. Length: 43cm at shortest, 49cm at longest.
