Our 21" Signature Chain Necklace is a plain chain that can be worn on its own or with a pendant of your choice. Customise with a birthstone, mantra, or crystal pendant for a deeply personalised look.

Umai or Umay, the goddess of fertility, is a protector of women and children. The oldest evidence of Umai is in the Orkhon script. From these it is understood that Umai was accepted as a mother and a guide. Umay lives in the blue sky and is said to bring good luck.

In ancient times central asian people believed in the god of sky, Tengri Ulgen, that sits in the heavens and protects people from evil. The colour of the blue sky is regarded as a sacred colour and used for protection.

For this beaded collection Cleopatra's Bling have been working with Tülay Çalışkan and Ferda Yılmaz from Atakum, Samsun, a city located in the BlackSea region of Turkey.

This gold cross pendant is taken from the mould of an original Byzantine piece.

The magnificent Byzantine jewellery and cross pendants discovered in archaeological excavations are a testament to the exceptional achievements of the 4th century. During this time, the Roman Emperor, St. Constantine, transformed the empire into a Christian state and established Byzantium's city of Constantinople as the new capital, resulting in an amalgamation of classical Greek, Roman, and Christian cultures that led to unprecedented accomplishments in art, architecture, and jewellery-making.
