Althaluth Necklace with Pearl

The Althaluth is a beaded necklace made from vegetable resin and pearl. Embedded within it’s strand are two nazar. It is adorned with a golden pendant studded with emerald.

Holy triads are a fundament of many world ancient religions. One of the earliest examples is of the various trinities found in Ancient Egypt. Asar, Aset, and Heru (more commonly known by their modern names of Osiris, Isis and Horus). This father, mother, and child grouping is made of some of the most powerful gods in the pantheon, but, as with many Egyptian deities, these three figures began their existence as humans before being transformed into divine beings. In Ancient Egyptian religion it was understood that major changes could not be enacted by one power alone, leading to the importance of a triads. Althaluth (named for trinity in Arabic) speaks to the importance of community and togetherness.

Handcrafted and individually cast. Each piece is unique, which we believe is what gives it its beauty. Each stone is natural, untreated as well as traceable. This means each stone differs in tone and colour. Nickel and lead free. Dimensions: 40cm length.
